Non-payment of salaries to home guards is shameful: Harish

Hyderabad: Former minister Harish Rao has once again criticized the Congress government. He took to Twitter to express his displeasure over the non-payment of salaries to over 16,000 home guards in the state, who have not been paid for the past 12 days. Harish Rao called it shameful. In his tweet, he stated, "Home guards, who rely on their meager salaries to survive, are facing severe difficulties without any cash in hand. They are forced to borrow money for rent, children's school fees, and daily expenses."

He further mentioned that due to non-payment of EMIs, bank officials have been calling and confronting them. Since the Congress party came into power, this has been the routine every month, with no one paying attention. Harish Rao questioned what Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would say in response to this situation, where there are cuts in schemes and employees are being troubled by non-payment of salaries. He asserted that this is not public governance, but anti-public governance. He demanded that the state government immediately pay the salaries of home guards.
