The Israeli army has ordered the evacuation of several parts of Rafah city in southern Gaza. These orders have come at a time when Israel has ended the ceasefire and again intensified attacks against Hamas. Hamas strongly condemned these attacks on the festival and called it part of Israel's aggressive measures.

According to the Holy Land Red Crescent Society, the bodies of 14 missing emergency workers who were killed in Israeli attacks last week were recovered on Sunday. Meanwhile, locals in Gaza say that the situation is extremely polluted, food is very scarce, and they are trying to survive somehow.

Netanyahu's new suggestion: Hamas must lay down its arms

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has put forward a new suggestion for an end-of-war agreement with Hamas. He has said that in order to move towards a ceasefire, Hamas will have to lay down its arms and the defense of Gaza will be handed over to Israel.

So far, more than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,13,000 injured in this ongoing conflict in Gaza. The war began on 7 October 2023 when Hamas fighters attacked southern Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking more than 250 hostages. In response, Israel launched a military action, which is still ongoing.
