Former Indian cricketer Sairaj Bahutule returns to Rajasthan Royals as the spin bowling coach after resigning from his position at the National Cricket Academy. He will collaborate with New Zealand's Shane Bond and head coach Rahul Dravid. The team features prominent bowlers such as Jofra Archer and Tushar Deshpande. Bahutule will also work with Sri Lankan spinners like Maheesh Theekshana and Wanindu Hasaranga. Former Indian cricketer, Sairaj Bahutule, is making his re-entry into the Rajasthan Royals franchise as the spin bowling coach. Having previously worked with the team from 2018 to 2021, Sairaj recently resigned from his position at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and is now returning to Rajasthan Royals for the upcoming season. In this season, he will work alongside New Zealand's bowling coach Shane Bond and head coach Rahul Dravid.

Sairaj Bahutule shared that he stepped down from his role at the "Center of Excellence" and mentioned that discussions regarding his responsibilities with Rajasthan Royals are currently ongoing. He expressed excitement about rejoining the team and also stated his joy in working with Rahul Dravid again, who had introduced him to the Indian team during the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Sairaj Bahutule, aged 52, had played two Test matches and five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in his career.

In the 2023 season, Rajasthan Royals boasts bowlers like Jofra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, Sandeep Sharma, Akash Madhwal, and Fazalhaq Farooqi. Additionally, Sairaj will work with Sri Lankan spinners Maheesh Theekshana, Kumar Karthikeya, and Wanindu Hasaranga.

Moreover, Rajasthan Royals' management has shown interest in purchasing the Trent Rockets franchise from the English Hundred league. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has selected six new team owners for this league, with Southern Brave and Trent Rockets still up for sale. Manoj Badale, owner of Rajasthan Royals, already owns Barbados Royals in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and Paarl Royals in South Africa's SA20 League. It is reported that IPL franchises and private equity firms are also competing in the Trent Rockets purchase process.
