Accident: Mother and three children died due to drowning

In a tragic incident, four people drowned in a pond in Venkatapur Agraharam of Yellalareddy Mandal in Kamareddy district, where a mother and her three children drowned in the village pond on Sunday. The mother also risked her life while trying to save her children who were drowning in the pond. Four people died in this tragic incident. The incident has sent shockwaves in Kamareddy.

According to police reports, the deceased were identified as Mounika (26) and her children Maithili (10), Akshara (9), and Vinay (7). The incident occurred when Mounika was washing clothes and the children entered the pond to swim. Unfortunately, they accidentally drowned and Mounika lost her life while trying to save them. Police reached the spot after receiving information from locals and pulled out the bodies from the pond. Police said a case has been registered and investigation is underway.
